For fertilization to occur normally, the sperm’s head must attach to the ovum and penetrate its outer layer to reach the cytoplasm. This is where fertilization happens. However, male infertility can prevent sperm from penetrating the outer wall of the ovum for several reasons. We recommend IVF ICSI treatment if the zona pellucida, which is the outer layer of the ovum, is very thick and does not allow sperm to penetrate.
Through IVF blastocyst transfer, we can observe embryo development for a longer duration. This extended culture period allows us to identify potential issues in the embryo, particularly in cases of embryo arrest or high fragmentation. An increasing number of couples are now choosing single embryo transfer (SET) — either as a personal preference, for family completion, or to minimize the risk of multiple pregnancies. Blastocyst culture is especially beneficial in such cases, as it enables the selection of the most viable embryo for transfer. At our blastocyst transfer center in Noida, we ensure that only the best-quality embryo is chosen, thereby enhancing the chances of pregnancy even with a single embryo transfer.
We offer preimplantation genetic testing (PGT), which enables our specialists to screen embryos created through IVF for potential genetic abnormalities. Our advanced system uses two innovative methods for testing. The first is preimplantation genetic screening (PGS), which evaluates embryos from genetically normal parents for structural or numerical chromosomal abnormalities. The second is preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD), designed to detect specific genetic issues in embryos where one or both parents have a known history of genetic disorders. PGD can identify sex-linked conditions, single-gene defects, and chromosomal anomalies.
Our fertility specialist evaluates the ovarian reserve to estimate the potential number of oocytes before initiating the ovarian stimulation cycle. This assessment involves blood tests and a pelvic ultrasound, which also help determine the appropriate medication dosage. Ovarian stimulation is performed similarly to in vitro fertilization (IVF) using injectable hormonal medications. After stimulation, the oocytes along with the follicular fluid are aspirated vaginally under sedation. The maturity of the retrieved eggs is then examined under a microscope, and mature oocytes are cryopreserved. Currently, vitrification is the preferred method for oocyte cryopreservation, achieved through ultra-rapid cooling in liquid nitrogen, where the oocytes can be safely stored for future use.

IUI treatment involves preparing and delivering a concentrated amount of active, motile sperm into a woman’s uterus via the cervix. IUI occurs while a woman is taking medicines to stimulate ovulation. This procedure can increase fertility with a low-tech, cost-effective approach.
A viscous solution separates motile sperm from dead sperm and other cells. We usually separate sperm using a method called density gradient separation. The process takes about two hours.
After being prepared, sperm concentrate is injected with a thin, flexible catheter through the cervix into the uterus. Usually, it takes 5 and 10 minutes. Patients may experience mild muscle cramps during the procedure, but they should subside shortly afterwards.
Our team will administer hormone injections to the donor to cause her to produce multiple eggs instead of only one per month when she isn’t on medication. Our donor egg IVF specialist then sedates the recipient and removes the eggs using an ultrasound-guided needle inserted into each follicle.
We will attempt to fertilize several eggs using the recipient’s partner’s sperm or selected donor sperm in the laboratory. Known as in vitro fertilization or IVF.
Medication synchronizes the donor and recipient during a fresh transfer cycle. After fertilization has taken place, the embryo (fertilized egg) will be transferred into the recipient’s uterus. Embryos are frozen in a frozen transfer and are usually transferred later on.
Embryo cryopreservation is a medical procedure in which embryos are frozen and stored for future use. This procedure is often used for couples who want to have children but are not ready to do so at the current moment. storage of embryos is possible for many years, and when the couple is prepared to have children, the embryos can be thawed and implanted into the mother’s uterus. There are many benefits to embryo cryopreservation:
You will need to find a fertility clinic that offers this procedure.
You will need to undergo a series of tests to ensure you are a good candidate for the procedure.
You will need to be prepared to pay for the procedure, which can be costly.
TESA (Surgical Sperm Retrieval)
TESA is also sometimes called Testicular Fine Needle Aspiration (TFNA). TESA Infertility Treatment can be used to diagnose or treat azoospermia. It can also be used to collect sperm from the testicles. A thin needle punctures the skin and testis to pull out sperm gently. No other cuts are needed.
Micro TESE (Surgical Sperm Retrieval)
Micro-TESE is done only for non-obstructive azoospermia. The outer cover of the testicle is opened, and the inside is checked. Micro-TESE is usually done in the operating room. This way, more of the testis is examined, but less tissue is removed. There’s also less damage to the blood vessels.
Hysteroscopy is a minimally invasive procedure that allows doctors to directly view and treat the inside of the uterus using a thin, lighted instrument called a hysteroscope. The procedure can be performed either for diagnostic purposes, such as investigating causes of abnormal uterine bleeding or infertility, or for operative reasons, such as removing polyps, fibroids, adhesions, or taking tissue samples for biopsy.

IVF is often recommended after other fertility treatments have been unsuccessful. It’s a primary treatment for conditions like blocked fallopian tubes, severe male factor infertility, or unexplained infertility.
One full cycle of IVF typically takes about four to six weeks, from the start of ovarian stimulation until the pregnancy test. The exact timeline can vary based on the individual’s protocol and response to treatment.
Most patients experience mild discomfort rather than significant pain. The injections can cause some stinging, and the egg retrieval procedure is performed under sedation to ensure you are comfortable and pain-free.
Success rates vary widely depending on factors like age, the cause of infertility, and the specific clinic. It’s important to discuss your individual chances of success with your fertility specialist.
Like any medical procedure, IVF has some risks, such as Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome (OHSS), multiple pregnancies, and a slightly higher risk of ectopic pregnancy. However, with careful monitoring, these risks are minimized.
